If something is black, it’s black. If it’s white, it’s white. But when your ethnic make up is black and white it can create a grey area. This shade of grey becomes the target of racist and clumsy remarks, especially when American, Meghan Markle is about to wed British royalty, Prince Harry:

a) The racists trolls will plod on. b) The closet racists will come out eventually. But there’s always a third option – c) be happy for two people who’ve fallen in love and wait with bated breath to see THE dress! There’s no doubt we’ve got a long way to go when it comes to fair representation of black people in society, but in the interim, I’ll choose (c). MOCCA Mums?
